Dear DAHS Graduates & Friends:
The
Downingtown Area High School Alumni Association invites you to the
127th Annual Banquet to be held Saturday, April 16, 2011.
As the oldest, active public high school alumni
association in the United States, the DAHS Alumni Association
remains committed to celebrating the accomplishments of current
students at Downingtown East and Downingtown West High Schools. We
are also committed to honoring our history and traditions.
This past year, the DAHS Alumni Association awarded two scholarships
at graduation, sponsored Homecoming, presented The Outstanding Boy
and Girl Awards, and supported the after prom parties for both DHS
East and West. We sponsored the third annual “Battle of the
Brandywine” Football Game between East and West and installed the
new Downingtown Alumni Athletic Complex Sign at Downingtown West
Stadium. We moved to our new alumni office at Trestle Bridge and are
busy enhancing our website: www.downingtownalumni.org, which allows
us to spotlight alumni accomplishments, activities, and events.
We invite you to attend this year’s banquet as well as become an
active participant in alumni activities. Alumni meetings are held
the third Saturday of the month at DHS West, Room 135. We also
welcome your donations to the Scholarship Fund and the Annual Giving
Fund. Please enclose any donation you wish to make to these funds
along with your banquet reservations and Association dues.
If
you have any food allergies, please clearly indicate this
information on your reservation form.
