Senior Mantle The Senior Mantle is a graduation gown, plus accouterments, covered with unique cloth patches designed by a member of each graduating class at Downingtown High School for more than 100 years. The Downingtown Area High School Alumni Association exists in part to help preserve the history of the school. Nothing embodies this effort more than the Senior Mantle and for this reason, it has been chosen as the entrance to the Downingtown Alumni Virtual Museum.
