The very first issue of Downingtown High School's Newsletter

Greetings,
      This first edition of the Cuckoo dates all the way back to February 1919. It notes that the idea for establishing a school newspaper, as this format was  described back then, had been discussed for several years. It was Prof. R.B. Taylor, a new faculty member, that made it a reality. Apparently this format was typical for a high school newspaper at the time. Click on the cover below to view the original Cuckoo in PDF format.
